All gone........

...but Miyu. We finally said goodbye to Shashi on 18 August and he went off to live with his new family in Penzance. We decided, however, that we couldn't bear to part with Miyu, so she's stayed here with Issy. Issy seems delighted with the decision and they are now inseparable.

BAGS PACKED....

....and ready to go. Tulay went off to her new home this afternoon and Ravi goes this evening. Two in one day - not easy! We will miss them terribly, but know they're going to be loved to pieces.
Shashi is still available to the right "forever" home. He's such a handsome boy - I've just taken this gorgeous photo of him to post online, alongside a couple of ads.
Miyu has had quite a bit of interest and a lovely lady has asked me to reserve her until she can get to see her. I've reluctantly agreed to this, but if it comes to nothing I think she'll stay with us.

12 WEEKS OLD

Ravi and Tulay are now booked. They both have lovely new homes to go to and we know they'll be loved to bits.
Ravi, despite still being the biggest, is a real cuddle-cat and is full of chat. Shashi has really grown and is now only slightly smaller than his brother. He's more independent though and a bit cheeky! Tulay has come out of her shell recently and now runs with the crowd - still a real sweetheart though. And Miyu's like her mum - scatty, chatty, attention-seeking and away with the fairies! My daughter adores her - she may have to stay.

9 WEEKS OLD

The kittens are now 9 weeks old and will be visiting the vets on Monday for their first vaccinations. They are all absolutely adorable and quite stunning! It's a complete joy sharing our home with them and we're already feeling sad about the inevitable farewells.

4 WEEKS OLD

Kittens, kittens everywhere.......  The kittens are now mobile and into everything. The colour is coming through on the Siamese - seal tabby, seal tortie and a chocolate tabby?? And personalities are developing. Ravi (tabby oriental) is the biggest and strongest, Shashi is wee, but was first to try the chicken and first to use the litter tray, Miyu (girl, not boy) is one of the boys - very bold and inquisitive and Tulay is the shy one, but an absolute sweetheart.

2 WEEKS OLD

Where does the time go?!
The kittens are all doing well. The Siamese points are coming through and I think we may have seals and chocolates. Probably tabbies and a tortie. I also suspect we may have 2 little girls, not one. The pictures are of the babies at about 2 weeks.

Kittens arrived 9 April

Issy had a problematic labour, resulting in a caesarian section. She coped well with the operation though and had 4 healthy kittens (3 Siamese (2 boys, 1 girl) and 1 tabby Oriental boy). I did have to feed 2 of the kittens with a milk substitute through the first night, but they were all latched on and feeding well by the following morning. Issy is proving to be a wonderful mum - very attentive. In fact the kittens just spend their days lazing in their bed with mum - growing plump!
